Hi,

I’m

Rachel

Born in the hot Arizona desert of the United States, I landed my dream job in 2015, teaching third grade in San Diego. Then, in 2018 just as I was settling in, I decided it’d be fun to get out of my comfort zone, really learn Spanish, and move to another country… hola España!

Since then I’ve lived in Madrid, Sevilla and Almeria Spain, and worked in all sorts of educational settings teaching English. I got married to the Spanish man of my dreams in Sevilla. We had our baby girl in 2022 and we are expecting a boy at the end of 2024. Our goal is to raise them both to be minimally bilingual, if not trilingual or quadri-lingual?… multilingual.

During my years teaching, I have accumulated lots of experience and resources that I wish I had access to from the start. I want to share anything I can with you to make your work life a bit easier, so you can enjoy the nomadic life you’ve set out to live!

Check out any of my three blogs for more stories and tips.
